Belize is a vibrant country filled with a colorful array of different cultures and traditions. The need for missions, however, is great.  With a total of 320,000 people living in Belize, over 33.5% of the population falls below the poverty line.  In addition, 17% of the population lives without any source of clean drinking water.  La Estima is dedicated towards helping those in need by providing opportunities for groups to serve the surrounding communities.

Belize is an excellent choice for mission-minded individuals. As a primarily English speaking country, there is no language barrier and a stable US-friendly government insures safe traveling.  Belize is also extremely accessible by air.  With a two-hour direct flight from Houston or Dallas, Belize is not far from home.

The center is located on 27 acres along the New River with over 20 buildings, a 10 horse stable, walking paths and several fitness areas.  Join Team Impact in Belize to change people's lives.

Advantages of missions to Belize:

• It's safe.  As many people know, Mexico has become a dangerous destination for groups to visit.  Drugs, gangs and violence have become the norm and therefore many people encourage you not to bring groups to Mexico.
• It's cheap.  For an international mission trip, this is the most cost effective option for what you get in return.
• They speak English.  English is the predominant language of Belize.  It's taught in schools as the primary language and just about everyone communicates in English.
• Accommodations.  These are the premiere accommodations for your group.  They have a chef, a nurse and 24 hour security that work for your group while you're there.  The rooms have a/c, running water, beds w/ sheets, Cable TV, refrigerators, etc.  It's almost too nice!  :-)  But it's great to have a nice, safe place to relax after serving all day in the Belize.
• Team Impact-- When you partner with Team Impact, they will handle the majority of the legwork.  They'll prepare for your trip and facilitate it once you arrive.  It truly is a turn-key operation that you can take advantage of.

The Setting

Team Impact has partnered with a beautiful resort just outside of Belize City in Orange Walk to hold mission camps. Church groups of all ages from youth to the senior ministries will enjoy the experience of a lifetime.

Enjoy helping and evangelizing the people of Belize from our base camp, which happens to be the equivalent of a Five Star rainforest resort. Also enjoy once in a lifetime excursions such as snorkeling the second largest reef in the world and exploring ancient Mayan pyramids.
