Chip Minton

A former Olympic Bobsledder and Pro Wrestler, Chip won a bronze medal in the four-man event at the 1997 FIBT World Championships in St. Moritz. Competing in two Winter Olympics, his best finish was fifth in the four-man event at Nagano in 1998. At the 1998 games, Minton was 6 ft. 1 in.tall and weighed 245 lbs, the heaviest person for the entire American team for those games.

After the 1994 Winter Olympics, Minton competed as a professional wrestler in the WCW under the name of "Mr. World Class". He used finishing moves such as the "Brainbuster" and the "Standing Splash". He feuded with Chris Adams in 1998, primarly over the use of the name World Class, which Adams felt was a potshot to his earlier days in World Class Championship Wrestling. Minton competed through the late 1990s.

After giving his life to Christ, Chip found true peace that only his Savior could offer. Now Chip uses his talents to tell the world of the love and salvation of Jesus Christ.
